BEBO Arch Installation over active Rail Line in Cornwall

The construction of the Newquay Strategic Route in Cornwall, Southwest England has moved a step closer to completion with the recent installation of the BEBO E72T Nansledan Rail Bridge.

“Nansledan” in Cornish means “wide valley”. The bridge is being built in this valley and over the Newquay-Par Rail Line by Network Rail on behalf of Cornwall Council.

The 16 BEBO Arch Elements – each weighing 28.6 tons – were installed over the rail during only two night possessions with minimal disruption for rail passengers.

All precast arches are supplied by Asset International Structures, longtime exclusive BEBO Partner in the UK and Ireland.

Congratulations to everyone in making this a success.
