Completion of BEBO E60T Arch Structure for M9 overpass in Amsterdam
The end of 2017 has seen the completion of KW3, an approximately 100m long BEBO E60T arch structure as part of the M9 Motorway Badhoevedorp Bypass near Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. The arch structure rests on a bored pile foundation due to very soft subsoil conditions. The latter had to be accounted for in the structural design that was carried out by BEBO Arch International AG.
The red lines painted on the arch inner surface mark the locations of the overpassing motorway-lanes and give the structure a unique look.
