…Installation of 10 arch rings BEBO E54T/2 over a drainage channel in the Hulu Langat District, Kuala Lumpur area.
Due to space restraints on the outside of both pile caps, battered piles were not an option to take the horizontal component of the foundation loads. Instead, the foundation design included precast tie beams running underneath the channel bed connecting the pile caps with in-situ closure stiches.
All site works were carried out to the full satisfaction of the involved parties.
